2010 was a great year for games. Many games dominated the market this year, with releases of Mass Effect 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. But here I will be discussing the best racing games of 2010.
F1 2010 is the first game that I will talk about.
This game is based on the 2010 season of the Formula One world championship. It was released in September 2010 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows platforms. F1 2010 features a complex weather system that makes the reality of the game more believable. It features all the drivers and teams that started the 2010 season. Overall this game is very fun and has great graphics.

Gran Turismo 5 originally was supposed to come out in 2006 but kept getting delayed til 2010. This game was basically perfected. It features about 1,031 cars, with Lamborghini and Bugatti making their first appearance in the franchise. It also includes 26 different locations and 71 different tracks. If you have not played this game yet, I highly recommend that you play this game.
Blur came out toward the end of May in 2010. And can I tell you how fun this game is. It's an arcade racing game and tons of fun. You get to blow cars up with different things and perform stunts while also racing with great cars. This game can not compete with Gran Turismo 5, or F1 2010 but you will have a lot of fun playing this game.
The next game I'm going to talk about is my favorite racing game of 2010 and many others will agree with me, I hope. The game I'm talking about is Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.
This game is simply amazing. The graphics rock, the music is great and the action is awesome. Basically you get to play as either a cop or a convict (racer) and both modes are extremely well done. There are many hot cars and most importantly they are all super fast, which is great. If you want to buy a racing game and your not sure which one to buy, buy this one, you will not be disappointed.
This year was a great year for racing games. But 2011 should bring more to the table.
